Brandy Joins Cast Of Tyler Perry's 'The Marriage Counselor'

Tyler Perry has added Brandy to the cast of The Marriage Counselor, which already includes Jurnee Smollett, Lance Gross, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Williams.

Essence reports that Brandy will play Gross' good friend and co-worker. The story centers around Smollett -- a marriage counselor who finds it difficult to manage her own relationship with Gross.

The film is scheduled to be released some time in 2012.
