Brandy’s feeling good about her upcoming track with Chris Brown (Rap-Up).
“It’s uptempo,” Brandy told True Exclusives of the Bangladesh-produced “Put It Down.” “It’s really different.”
Brandy also called her studio session with Breezy “amazing,” adding, “I just think his artist Se7en is so talented and she gets me and Chris gets me. To work with people that love you and love your craft and what you do, I think it makes the song even better and the experience even better.”
Sean Garrett, who was responsible for penning “Put It Down,” previously told Rap-Up of the single: “You probably haven’t heard Brandy over a track like this. It’s very commercial, but at the same time, it’s got a dope hip-hop influence—it’s club, it’s radio, it’s all formats.”
You can hear the brand-new single from Brandy’s upcoming album when it drops later this month. Two Eleven is slated for summer release. —Stephanie Long
