On a lighter note, Ms Traci, you’ve mentioned a salon, are you still going to do that?
Traci: It’s coming really soon, only in the DMV area [laughs]
You always said you kind of felt left out, or that you missed the mark to perform with your sisters, but since Toni is looking for new background singers, have you considered auditioning?
Traci: I think I just need to stay on my own right now and fulfill my dreams and aspirations and not blame others because of the life that I chose. I just can’t wait, the sky’s the limit. I’m working with kids, giving back to my community and just living life.
Tamar: And we’re so proud of Traci and her growth. It’s one thing to be on TV and have people criticize you and talk about you, but it’s another to watch yourself and see your growth and to learn things and make yourself better. That was the whole point in us doing this show. We’ve learned that this show has helped us in so many ways.
Ms. E, you were previously a pastor, do you think that’s what made you decided to become a life coach?
Ms. E: My family always helped other people. I raised my kids to do the same thing. I believe in giving back. You can’t say you love God, and someone is hungry and you don’t feed them. Yes, I’m giving back, however, those that will receive me, that’s fine. Those that will not, ok.
Are we going to see any of your children as clients? Maybe Mr. Braxton…
Tamar: OOOOH! She tried it!! [laughs]
Ms. E: To me, that’s a fair question. I coach my children all the time, everyday not always do they listen, but the word of God did say the prophet is without honor in their own home, but other people will take it in and they will listen. Now, so far, as Mr. Braxton, I probably will not counsel him because I think what has happened is too close.
Tamar: and it would be biased.
Ms. E: Yes. It’s not that I have not forgiven him, it’s just that I think if he needs counseling, then he should get someone else other than I.
Tamar, most recently, you and another reality show star have exchanged words via Twitter, K. Michelle, what’s that situation like?
Tamar: I don’t know who that is. Who is that? Is that an animal? All I know is that I’ve been lied on and that’s not fair. If you say you’re 100, I expect you to be that way and that’s all.
Understandable. With Toni looking for new background singers, have you guys helped with the process? I know you’ve all been very critical.
Tamar: The process has been fun. [laughs]. Toni is a nut and she’s a perfectionist and she’s very serious about her artistry. You’ll see that she doesn’t play any games. You might see her with us hanging out and kicking it, but she’s nothing like that. She’s never been that way to work for. That’s a great side of Toni that everybody needs to see.
So it’s safe to say we can expect a lot of Diva-ness for season 2.5?
Tamar: Yeah baby!
