Big Sean Don stopped through Power 105.1's Breakfast Club bright and early to speak on his sophomore effort Hall of Fame.
He says he pushed the album back to perfect the project, especially after dropping the well-received mixtape Detroit "It wasn't all the way ready. I was up in the studio at 6am and going back in at 1pm," Sean says. "I was missing out on family moments, like what I am doing? This album is so important, I might as well take my time with it."
The D-town player also responded to negative criticism from the blogs about his raps, specifically Big Ghostface who Charlamagne quotes as saying Big Sean is less than a condiment. "Half of these bloggers live with their momma, jacking off," he responded. "At least, I'm out here bossin up, takin care of my family and sellin out in my city."
The Finally Famous MC also discussed his stellar show in Detroit with Kanye West, J. Cole and Common, and ghostwriting for Kim Kardashian. Peep the full clip below.
