Bria Murphy Reveals Models’ Extreme Eating Habits To Stay Thin

Sometimes in the world of modeling, it’s not a cake walk.

Bria, the eldest daughter of legendary comedian Eddie Murphy, who has appeared in commercial print and magazine spreads such as hair-care line Dark and Lovely and Maxim, dispelled some of the secrets of the industry during a recent interview with Good Morning America.

“I’ve heard of people eating cotton balls with orange juice…they dip it in the orange juice and then they eat the cotton balls to help them feel full,” she told GMA. “The cotton’s not doing anything. It’s just dissolving. And it makes you think you’re full, but you’re not.”

Murphy also unveiled the horrific truths of addiction and pressure to stay petite. “Lots of girls get addicted to drugs and anorexia, there’s a whole list of things, because it’s a lot of pressure to be perfect,” she said.
