As a part of the summer event prelude leading to their notorious Electric Zoo Festival, Made Event presents another spectacular Governors Island gathering. Unlike their prior events, which have featured more mainstream names like Robbie Rivera, Gareth Emery and Dash Berlin, the massive fun providers at Made Event will offer New Yorkers (and B&T and Europeans on holidays folks) a proper trip to the underground. This Saturday, the half party island/half historical landmark plays host to two of the most renowned DJs in the biz, John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia. From deep house to techno, Digweed’s sets have intoxicated the masses worldwide. From the inexperienced clubber to the seasoned dancefloor veteran, Mr.Digweed leaves all attendees of his well crafted sets in a musical daze. ‘El Maestro’ or Danny Tenaglia is NYC’s club champion. For over 30+ years ‘DT’ has taken club goers on musical journeys during his marathon sets. Unlike many of these so called ‘elite’ DJs, Danny is considered by his peers to be the true “DJs’ DJ.” The combination of these two sharing one stage brings excitement to anyone with a true love for underground music, including Mr.Tenaglia who told Vibe he is, “So psyched to finally BE playing on Governor’s Island and really glad that I saved it for this long overdue reunion with a DJ mentor and friend Mr. John Digweed! YES!.”

The supporting cast for this underground gathering is NYC’s favorite married couple, Sleepy and Boo. These two have opened for just every big name to pass through the Big Apple. From Dubfire to Deadmau5, these two have played with them. The second set will be performed by production tag team, Pleasurekraft. Boasting a unique sound of almost circus like qualities, both Kalle Soroush and Kalle Rongardh have amassed a following of EDM fans that embrace their unconventional sound.

The stage is set for an event that will be hard to match and is a perfect appetizer to Made’s final course, E-Zoo. For more event info as well as ticket info, click HERE. See you Saturday!
