Brooklyn Father Says He Was Mistreated During Beyonce and Jay-Z's Hospital Takeover

Most music lovers were more than happy to hear about Jay-Z and Beyonce's first born child.

The news of Ivy Blue Carter (or it Blue Ivy Carter?) taking her first breaths this past Sunday was a historical occasion. However, another Brooklyn father was a bit taken back by how his family was treated at the same hospital, where Beyonce gave birth.

“They just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered,” said Neil Coulon whose wife gave birth to premature twins at Lenox Hil Hospital. He also claims the high powered couple's body guards stopped him from seeing his wife and kids on four separate occasions. Coulon says he was forced to wait each time on the security team's orders.

“They locked us into the NICU and would say, ‘You can’t come out to the hallway for the next 20 minutes.’ When I finally was able to go back out, I went to the waiting room and they’d ushered my family downstairs!," he continued.

“These are parents who are going through very stressful times,’’ the 39-year-old contractor said of NICU parents. “To have that circus roll into town, having to deal with all this drama because someone is a superstar, isn’t fair.”

Sources says Hov and Bey shelled out $1.3 million to secure a private floor of the hospital and were treated like royalty.
