Bun B To Celebrate "Bun B Day in Houston" With Food Drive

If you'll be in the Houston, Texas area tomorrow, join rapper Bun B as he celebrates "Bun B Day In Houston," while also doing something good for the community.

Tomorrow will mark the one-year anniversary of "Bun B Day in Houston", which Mayor Annise Parker created in honor of B's commitment to community service. To celebrate, Bun B will host a food drive for the Houston Food Bank from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their headquarters. He plans to meet and greet fans and thank them for making donations of non-perishable food items and money that will help feed those in need.

Bun B spoke on having his own day by stating, "To be honored with my own day by Mayor Parker and the Council is something I don't take lightly. It is my hope that the day becomes synonymous with honor, good will, and helping one's fellow man. Partnering with the Houston Food Bank is the first step. Join us in our effort to begin a new tradition of unity in the human community on August 30!"
