Carol’s Daughter to Drop Bath and Body Line for The Princess and The Frog

The Steve Stoute-managed beauty line Carol’s Daughter has been tapped to be the official product brand of Disney’s The Princess and The Frog.

The Princess and The Frog is the upcoming Disney animation film centered on a young black princess from New Orleans. Carol’s Daughter, which is founded by Lisa Price, is set to launch a full bath and body line to celebrate the premiere of the film.

“African-American women have never been invited into the Disney experience –this is a major milestone for the Disney princess franchise,” says Steve Stoute, Carol’s Daughter’s chief executive officer and managing director. “It will be very exciting to take my daughter to see the Ariel that looks like her, whose hair moves just like hers, and whose skin is beautifully brown and celebrated. And given Lisa [Price’s] story, it is especially appropriate that Carol’s Daughter is partnering with Disney for this project.”
