Carson Daly Apologizes for 'Gay Joke': "I Attempted to Make Fun of Myself"

Carson Daly Apologizes for 'Gay Joke': "I Attempted to Make Fun of Myself"

Posted March 30, 2012

NBC's The Voice host Carson Daly caused a lot of ruckus this week.

On his LA radio show Wednesday morning (March 28) he made comments discussing the JetBlue pilot meltdown that were not only homophobic, but offended a lot of people. "

"Most of them were on their way to some sort of security conference in Las Vegas...it was like a bunch of...well-trained dudes, thank God," Daly said. "With my luck, it would be like, 'This is the flight going to pride [the gay pride parade] in San Francisco...'Uh, we're headed down to Vegas for the floral convention.'"

Daly later apologized for the joke on Twitter. Looks like he won't be making this mistake anymore. Peep his tweet below.
