How many MCs must get dissed? That's the million dollar question on Cassidy's latest freestyle. Rapping over the Black Moon beat, Cassidy takes a step back and looks at the bigger picture since releasing his heated response to Kendrick Lamar's verse on "Control." Known for dropping a diss here and there, Cassidy is vocal in his lyrics about this new track not being a diss record, but more of something for the haters.
"Every song I drop – they call it a diss record/ ‘Cus the bars so hard that rappers feel disrespected," he raps over the throwback beat. "I’m the truth, prick just accept it/ You can never call my bluff like yo phone got disconnected." Things get messy after that with the Philly MCs rapping, "I popped a molly but she probably thought it was a Viagra."
