Casting Begins for TLC Biopic

In celebration of one of the top selling, iconic girl groups of all time, VH1 is now casting talented women to portray Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez for an untitled TLC Biopic.

The film will display the start of the super group in Atlanta, Ga, their rise to fame and the many tragedies that struck them throughout the years. Chilli and T-Boz are both consultants and executive producers of the film, and they have teamed up with the amazing screenwriter that brought us Set It Off and the Tina Turner biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Kate Lanier.

The movie is the first in a series of music-focused TV films for the station. Filming starts early 2013
