Catch The Hip Hop Caucus’ ‘Act On Climate Campus Tour’

Stacy-Ann Ellis / April 1, 2014

The Hip Hop Causus — the same organization that partnered with Diddy for “Vote or Die” and 2 Chainz to fight for voting rights — has had a shift in gears. The team will be turning their focus to greener topics like climate, pollution and the effects they have on the black community.

During the Act On Climate Campus Tour, the Hip Hop Caucus will set up on five different college campuses (they’ve been to the sixth already) to raise awareness about environmental health issues. Some of the featured speakers on the tour include Raheem DeVaughn, Karen Civil, Dee-1, Amanda Seales (formerly Amanda Diva), Rev Yearwood, Dr. Michael Dorsey and Rev. Gerald Durley.
