CeeLo Green is hanging up his judge’s title on The Voice. During a recent stop on Ellen, the Goodie Mob frontman said that he would continue to maintain his relationship with the singing show but would move on to pursue his own syndicated series.

“I’m going to continue my relationship with NBC,” he told DeGeneres (below). “I have a television show development deal with them and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year. But yeah, I’m going to miss The Voice, too. I’m not coming back, guys.”

The 39-year-old singer has his own reality show The CeeLo Life in the works and is set to air on TBS. Current judges on The Voice, which kicked off its sixth season Monday (Feb. 18), include Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Shakira and Usher.
