Charges Dropped: Settlement For Amanda Bynes

A settlement for Amanda Bynes means the troubled starlet will avoid harsher penalties. Bynes was in hot water for two separate hit-and-run accidents, one which occurred in April and the other in August.

But a settlement for Amanda Bynes does not mean she's totally out of trouble. Bynes still has an open DUI case pending, as well as two counts of driving on a suspended license.

Amanda Bynes' settlement was finalized Wednesday, when the two victims signed civil compromise forms in an LA courtroom indicating they wanted the issue dismissed.

The two hit-and-runs were part of a pattern of erratic behavior for the former Nickelodeon star in 2012. She had run-ins with the law and the paparazzi involving marijuana, liquor, naked tanning and other odd actions in the public.
