Charlie Sheen Lands Role On New TV Show 'Anger Management'

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen will see his return to network television.

Reports says the actor has been cast as the "Jack Nicholson" character in a TV version of the movie, Anger Management.

Producer Joe Roth, who owns the original script is also helping bring the show to life.

Sheen will play an  ex-jock with a master's degree in social work he obtained during the offseason.  Throughout the show he works as a counselor to defendants with obsurd anger management problems, all while dealing his own anger issues.

At press time, the show was still being shopped around to various television networks.
