Charlie Sheen is now signed up with Ad.ly, a company that facilitates endorsed tweets at a range of $200 to $25,000 per message. Ad.ly CEO Arnie Gullov-Singh predicts Sheen will eclipse Kim Kardashian, their highest-grossing client, because “He had the No. 1-rated show for seven years. You’d expect brands would be lining up to be involved with him in social media."
So, does this take away some of the "validity" of Sheen's crazy Twitter rants? How about all celebrities? Should we suspect that they're paid to tweet crazy things? Or, maybe they're all just crazy like foxes. In a society that likes to watch train wrecks, why shouldn't celebrities take advantage? [Via Vulture]
