Chicago Police Ban L.E.P. Bogus Boys From Performing at House of Blues

Chicago Police Ban L.E.P. Bogus Boys From Performing at House of Blues

Posted April 27, 2012

Although the L.E.P. Bogus Boys were scheduled to hit the stage alongside A$AP Rocky next week at Chicago's House of Blues, the police have now banned them from performing.

After nervousness stemming from the rise of numerous Chicago street rappers, the Chicago police department has threatened to shut down the show completely if L.E.P performs.

While the Chicago rappers have already performed at the House of Blues multiple times this year without any incidents, the police don't seem to be letting up.

According to the duo's manager, E, the police won't be cooperating in discussing the matter. "I'm almost sure they'll try to blow us off," he said. "They're sending emails and envelopes, and by the time we get [to the venue] there's 100 police officers saying that we can't come out."

News of the unjust ban has already exploded on the internet drawing the attention of the Chicago Tribune and Time Out Chicago and Chicago television station WGN-TV. -- Jazmine Gray
