Was Chief Keef Evicted From His Apartment?

/ June 11, 2014

Chief Keef is setting the record straight on reports that he was evicted from his Chicago apartment because he wasn’t making payments. He alleges that it was because his neighbors weren’t fond of him. TMZ reports that Keef, real name Keith Cozart, owed his landlord, Bal Banzal, $11,300. Lake County deputies showed up to his pad to speed up the eviction process. Although Banzal said that Keef was a good tenant and his departure was voluntary, police claims it was an eviction. This isn’t Keef’s first run-in with the popo. This past March, he was thrown into jail on DUI charges in Highland Park shortly after he exited rehab. According to his Twitter, the “Getcha” rapper seems to have zero worries about finding shelter.
