In his cover story for VIBE’s relaunch issue, Chris Brown shares his views on domestic abuse.

“It’s never okay for a man to hit a woman but it’s [also] never okay for a woman to hit a man,” says the singer, whose third album Graffiti, hits stores Tuesday (Dec. 8). I think domestic violence is not just men on women.”

Chris Brown plead guilty to one count of assault in June, following an altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, earlier this year. He was sentenced to 180 days of community service, five years probation, counseling and a “stay away” order from Rihanna.

Following in Rihanna’s footsteps, Brown will appear on 20/20 tonight.
