Chris Brown has been officially added to the 2012 Billboard Music Awards performance roster. The awards, which will be held this weekend in Las Vegas, honor the achievements of chart-topping artists.
The awards will be hosted by Modern Family’s Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen, and will include performances from Usher, Cee-Lo Green, Justin Bieber, and many others.
Chris Breezy’s performance comes just in time as his latest single “Turn up the Music” sits at number two on the Billboard R&B and Hip-Hop songs chart. The Grammy-Award winning artist is also up for four awards this year including Top Male Artist and Top R&B Artist. Adele, Rihanna, LMFAO, and Lil Wayne currently take the lead in nominations. Chris Brown’s fourth studio album Fortune is due July 3rd.
Tickets to the Billboard Music Awards are currently available on ticketmaster.com. The show will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 20th on ABC.
