At Sunday night's BET Awards, Chris Brown was in the midst of controversy throughout the night. One being that he was taken into custody on an illegal gun charge and the other his retirement from music. In his acceptance speech for the 'Best Male R&B Artist' award, Breezy’s speech led many to believe that his fifth album 'Fortune' would mark his exit from the entertainment biz.
""I'd like to thank Team Breezy, everybody who worked on any one of my albums," the "Turn Up The Music" singer said during his thank you speech. "My last album that's coming out in two days. ... I just want to thank all my fans. It's dedicated to y'all. This one's for y'all, man, I appreciate everything."
His rep was quick to fix the misunderstanding and told MTV News that he simply meant that it was the last album that he had worked on and he has no desire to retire anytime soon from music.
