Chris Brown's Rep Says He Did Not Cancel Guyana Concert Because of Protestors

Chris Brown's Rep Says He Did Not Cancel Guyana Concert Because of Protestors

Adelle Platon Posted November 23, 2012

The people of Guyana may not have been happy to see Chris Brown perform because of the 2009 incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna but the singer's camp assures he did not cancel the show out of fear.

The Huffington Post reported that Breezy didn't touch the stage in Guyana because womens' rights groups were protesting his presence and would not welcome him into the country. His rep says that's false.

"This concert was never confirmed," Brown's rep tells E! News. "The promoter is being untruthful."

When it comes to Brown, little is ever a sure thing, like his current relationship with Rihanna, especially after tag teaming on Rih's Unapologetic track "Nobody's Business." But that's a story for another day.
