Chris Tucker is ready to head back to the big screen, and will possible star alongside Bradly Cooper and Robert DeNiro.
The fast-talking actor-comedian is in talks for a role in The Silver Linings Playbook, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Playbook, which is scheduled to shoot in the fall, stars Bradley Cooper as a high school teacher just released from a mental institution after four years and looking to reconcile with his wife. It's an adaptation of the novel by Matthew Quick.
Tucker will play Cooper's spirited friend who lives in a mental hospital, according to Variety. He escapes on several occasions to visit the troubled protagonist, as the duo have a special understanding of each other.
Tucker hasn't been in a movie since 2007, when he reprised his detective role opposite Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 3.
