Ciara Opens Up About Her Upcoming Album

Ciara hit up SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning” show during her trip to Indianapolis for the Super Bowl

, to discuss her fifth studio album.

The 26-year-old singer is taking her time with the comeback album since reuniting with L.A. Reid at Epic Records and making sure she has the right vibe.

“It’s just really about the vibe, and I’ll just tell you that it’s a good vibe going,” she said to Sway Calloway. “It’s really important for me to take my time with this record and it’s important for the whole team. It’s really, really good energy.”

Following 2011’s controversy surrounding her label, Ci-Ci’s now focused on building an empire.

“I want a strong empire,” she said. “I want it to be really solid and it’s about building a brand, so I look at things completely different than I would have on my first album.”

Now, the dancing diva is finally having fun with her music and co-producing tracks in preparation for her fifth studio release. --Jazmine Gray
