CNN Reports New Information Has 'Reinvigorated' Biggie's Unsolved Murder Case

CNN has revealed that sources close to law enforcement have informed them that a task force made up of local and federal agencies is actively pursuing new leads and information in the unsovled murder case of hip-hop icon The Notorious B.I.G.

One source told the news outlet that the case was “reinvigorated” months ago after the new information was uncovered. They have stated that the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A. Country District Attorney’s Office and The FBI are continuing on with their  investigation that goes back 13 years.

Los Angeles City Councilman Bernard Parks who was the chief of police during the investigation told CNN that any police cover-up rumors were "absurd."
