Get ready for one the biggest interviews of the year. To kick-off the premiere of his new show Anderson, Mr. Cooper will be the first to speak with Amy Winehouse‘s family about the special talent we all lost.

Anderson tweeted details on the premiere episode set to air September 12: “Amy Winehouse’s family – her dad, mom, stepmom, boyfriend – speak for the 1st time since her death.” He added, “I’m really looking forward to speaking with Amy Winehouse’s family. They’ve been through so much, and her talent was so great.”

According to Hollywood Reporter, Anderson has a very specific angle in mind: “We want it to be a look at what happened to her and the struggles that she was facing and the struggles that the family was facing in trying to get [her] help and her incredible talent and career.”

We’ll be on time for that.
