If you are wary of elevators, be happy you weren’t caught “dead” on this one.

With over 5,000,000 views on YouTube, Brazil’s hidden-camera prank show titled Program Silvio Santos took their ideas to another level.

The set up goes like this: funeral home employees station a coffin in an elevator with an “unsuspecting” person and then leave to get a flower wreath. They ask the passenger to hold the door for a minute but “coincidentally” the elevator doors close by the time they return. Thus the coffin door flies open, and the not-so-dead corpse comes to life, sending the passenger into a screaming fit.
