The first day of marijuana legalization in Colorado was an overwhelming success, with pot shops racking in over $1 million, according to Colorado’s 9 News.

Twenty four weed spots opened in Colorado on Wednesday (Jan. 1). Residents must be 21 or older to buy marijuana in the state.
