Common's good mission to help Chicago youth do better continues. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper sat down with CNN to discuss taking part in the Chicagoland docu-series and his foundation partnering with Kanye West's Donda's House to boost the job rate for young people in Chi-Town.
"I felt honored that [Mayor Rahm Emanuel] wanted me to help with the youth because that's where I'm driven to really help out our young people in Chicago," he said, "and the fact that the mayor recognized my passion for the young people and it was a honor for him to ask me. I'm not a politician at all but I love when politics has a great cause."
