Michael B. Jordan isn't doing too shabby these days. After being hailed Breakout of the Year by GQ following his lead role in one of the year's most buzzed-about films Fruitvale Station, the Newark, New Jersey native is being linked to potential blockbusters from Star Wars: Episode 7 to Fantastic 4. But could his heroic efforts lead to a cameo on Shonda Rhimes' hit ABC series Scandal?
During GQ's Man of the Year party in Los Angeles last month, Michael B. was spotted with Scandal stars Katie Lowes and Columbus Short, so we had to wonder if this friendship could be playing out on the small screen as well.
"Shonda is an amazing writer. I love Kerry Washington. Columbus is awesome but those are just friends," he recently told VIBE while in New York with Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler. "You go to different events and you see people you know and you respect their work. It's a mutual respect thing. We were just having a good time."
While that isn't a flat-out no, it's not hard to imagine Michael B. as a future Gladiator. Watch below where he also discusses sneaking into GQ parties back in the day.—Adelle Platon (@adelleplaton)
