Cowboys Star Files Protective Order Against Parents

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Tyron Smith was forced to call 911 after family members got aggressive in trying to solicit money. The second-year player out of USC has apparently been under tremendous pressure from his family to give out money, and he filed a protective order against his mother and stepfather this summer. Smith's five brothers and sisters are also prevented from contacting him on behalf of his parents.

Cowboys security was apparently forced to remove one of Smith's family members from training camp this summer, a year after Smith signed a four-year, $12.5 million deal with the Cowboys. Smith's attorney John Schorsch said Smith is "a good kid. This is hard on him. But he's handled this with dignity and grace, I'm proud of the manner in which he's handled it."
