D-Edge Set to Host Events At the Rio Carnival

With the return of Rio Carnival in Brazil this year, D-Edge is will host two massive parties for the event. On February 8th, a special party will be headlined by Richie Hawtin along side MATADOR live, Maurico Lopes and King of Swingers.

The popular electronic dance music festival in Rio de Janeiro brings together the vibrant sounds and culture of Latin America. Richie Hawtin, known as a pioneer DJ of minimal techno and legend in his own right, is expected to bring the sounds of his own ENTER parties in Ibiza to the EDM event. Another welcome addition to the lineup is live specialist Matador, who is widely known for his discography of stripped back yet funky techno cuts. Also set to play at the event is Mauricio Lopes and King of Swingers. Keeping in tradition of bringing the best music to the festival, D-Edge will also feature performances by Maceo Plex and Tale of Us (January 12), Jozif (January 25) Gavin Herlihy (January 26th), Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann (February 2), Innervisions’ Ame, Henrik Schwarz and Dixon (February 7) and Guti, who is fresh off "VIBE's 30 DJs to Watch in 2013" (March 3).
