If you blinked, you could've missed it. Playing all of 15 seconds, a mysterious Daft Punk commercial aired during last night's episode of Saturday Night Live.
The ad, while short, really packs in a lot of equivocal information. For starters, the 15-second clip unveiled the group's new split-helmet logo that was uploaded to their website this week. The image confirmed their signing to Columbia with the record label's logo attached in the bottom right corner.
The French DJ duo -- Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo -- are rumored to be dropping their fourth studio album and follow-up to 2005's Human After All sometime this year. The ad's funky background music is believed to be a new track off the LP that diehard fans have already looped into a 10-minute groove that will make you want to dance. (Even when you Shazam the 15-second snippet, the song pops up on the app with the new Daft Punk logo, but with no title. Clever.)
If 10 minutes isn't enough for you, here is the one hour extended version of the loop.
