Daymond John is a busy man in 2012. The host of the ABC show ‘Shark Tank’ recently revealed some of his future plans to VIBE.com and this year looks promising. Starting off 2012 by hosting the Orange Drive Music Festival down in Miami, Daymond shared his experiences on ringing in the new year hosting the event:

“I never aimed to be a Shark version of Ryan secrest. Even though I’m on the business show Shark Tank, all of a sudden, I find myself hosting more and more events. You never know the paths life will take you down. With so many superstar performances under the stars on the beach in Miami, the Orange Drive Music Festival was by far the best event I’ve been a part of. I couldn’t think of any better place to bring my mixture of party, fun, and opulence.”

This year Daymond plans to continue to serve as a consultant for superstar musician Pitbull, and hip-hop royalty Vanessa Simmons. He also will continue teaching at Babson College, serve as brand ambassador for Shopify (web platform), and continue working with Edison Nation.
