Detroit Tigers baseball outfielder Delmon Young has been arrested following a fight early Friday (April 27) morning outside of the teams hotel in NYC.
The NY Post reports Young allegedly scuffled with a 32-year-old man and pushed him to the ground, causing minor scratches. He was "highly intoxicated" and had to spend the night in the hospital before being arrested. Allegedly the assault charge will count as an aggravated hate crime, a misdemeanor because of some "Anti-Semitic remarks' Young made.
At 26-years-old this is his second violent incident in his career, back in 2006 he was suspended for 50 games after throwing a bat at an umpire.
We hope he gets some anger mangement classes before he ends up being more than suspended.
