Destiny's Child Reunites At Kelly Rowland's 'Here I Am' Release Party

Kelly Rowland held her album release party for her third studio effort, Here I Am

, on Wednesday (July 26) in NYC’s Meatpacking District. The event, sponsored by Moët Rose Champagne, brought out the best of the best, including former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Michelle Williams, Tika Sumtper, Maxwell, Estelle and Big Sean. But, it wouldn’t be a formal Destiny’s Child reunion without Beyonce showing up for the ride.

According to the New York Daily News, Ms. Knowles arrived to the event at 1:00 AM, without husband Jay-Z in tote, who is off doing business on the west coast. Though the crowd dimmed down around the time of Bey’s arrival, photographers and guests caused such an uproar, her security had to usher her to a banquette where the Kelly as well as Michelle had to come to her.

However, all was not lost. The trio allowed close acquaintances to capture pictures of them and they danced the night away for about an hour until they were spotted leaving together around 2:00 AM. But before their exit, Kelly thanked all in attendance, and once her hit single “Motivation” began blaring through the speakers, Beyonce and Michelle were spotted reciting all of the words, proving Kelly was truly the “Commander” of the night. – Tyler McDermott
