Compton rapper The Game is following Diddy and undergoing a name change. Well, sort of.
He's been officially known as The Game throughout his career, but now, he's shortening it, dropping "The"; he'll now to be known as simply "Game," reports DubCNN.com.
As we previously reported, Game's next solo album--titled The R.E.D. Album -- is set for a December release. However, the date is now December 8th, instead of the 1st, as originally reported.
DubCNN reports that the first street single will be a new track called "Crazy," featuring Gucci Mane and production by Timbaland.
And the first, official single will be "L.A. Girl," featuring Chris Brown, with the boards manned by Pharrell.
As far as guests, the album is said to include Diddy, Akon, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Beanie Sigel. Production includes Akon, Polow da Don, Cool & Dre and DJ Khalil.
Stay tuned for further updates.
