Today, Nelson Mandela, the former President of South Africa and revered human rights icon for his fight against apartheid, passed away at 95. While a hefty amount of celebs offered their condolences in 140 characters or less, there have been rumors swirling that Paris Hilton confused Mandela for Martin Luther King, Jr. by mentioning the “I Have A Dream” speech. Buzzfeed says that the tweet, which was shared by @DeletedTweets, is a fake. According to her current timeline, she’s in the clear because she’s in Miami.
