Diners Labeled As '3 Fat Girls' by California Restaurant

A group of California diners are furious after they had a meal at a "Chilly D's" restaurant located at a Cameo Club Casino in California.

Christina Huerta, Isabel Robles and Christine Duran say they were cruelly picked on about their weight after enjoying a quick bite during a girls night out.

"I was laughing at her, and she was like, 'I'm serious.' I'm like, 'No, it does not say fat girls, let me see it.' I'm looking at it. I was like, 'Oh, heck no,'" Huerta said in disbelief.

"It's not funny. I can just see it over and over again, and I still can't believe it. They labeled us 'fat girls.' It's just something we got to deal with," Robles said.

The girls were initially offered only 25% percent off on their meal by the eatery's manager, but ended up with a comped meal after a dispute.

The restaurant bar manager, Jimmy Seimers, shared his thoughts about matter involving the diners called "fat girls." He said, "I was really appalled, obviously, at the behavior. I just want to tell (the women) that we're sincerely sorry for that, and that we'll do everything in our power to make sure that this never happens to anyone ever again."

On the diners called "fat girls" on their check and their future plans on the matter: At this point there is no word if the bullied women intend to seek legal action action the restaurant. While obesity is a real health concern in America and free speech is an inherent right, does it give others the right to bully those considered "overweight?"
