Radio Disney and Disney Channel team up to crown teenage sister pop singers and actresses Chloe and Halle Bailey from Atlanta, Georgia as the winners of season five of Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing" (N.B.T). The program is a recurring multi-platform feature that gives budding young talent the spotlight providing them with national broadcast and online exposure, and the opportunity to perform for multiple markets. After the audience voted, results were announced on December 8th by radio personality Jake Whetter, with performances and appearances by past winners and finalists such as Hollywood Records artist and "N.B.T." season three finalist Coco Jones, "N.B.T." season four winner Shealeigh, and "Austin & Ally" stars Laura Marano and Ross Lynch and his band R5. During the Disney Channel premiere of "Disney's A Christmas Carol" on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT), audiences will be able to catch highlights from the finale event. Due to their newfound accomplishment, sisters Chloe and Halle will have the chance to record a new single that will be released through Disney Music Group, which they will perform on the hit Disney Channel series, "Austin & Ally."
