Renowned hip-hop journalist Shaheem Reid recently sat down with "We The Best" music executive DJ Khaled in the back of his Maybach for another exclusive interview in his Life +Times "Round Up" series.
Khaled candidly spoke about listening to Arab music, reggae and hip-hop growing up and collecting vinyls at an early age. He also delved into his relationships with Rick Ross, Jay Z and Kanye, as well as the meaning behind his forthcoming compilation album Suffering From Success. Reid also asked Khaled who would DJ his wedding (because we all know who Khaled wants to marry.)
"If you were to have Nicki Minaj over for a nice candlelit dinner, and you played her some soft music in the background, would you play Bobby Brown's 'Tenderoni' or Bobby Brown's 'Rock Wit'cha?" asks Reid at the end.
Answers DJ Khaled, "I'll play 'Sexual Healing' by Marvin Gaye..."
