It's always an ego boost when you have a handful of social media friend requests on a daily basis, but could your online popularity be causing you more stress?
In this latest study by the University of Edinburgh Business School, it's being suggested that the higher your Facebook friends number is, the more stress you're bringing on yourself.
Here's an excerpt from the press release:
"Stress arises when a user presents a version of [herself or himself] on Facebook that is unacceptable to some of their online 'friends,' such as posts displaying behavior such as swearing, recklessness, drinking, and smoking."
