Donnis Delays Mixtape Again; Reveals ‘Fashionably Late’ Collaborations

Donnis plans to build the anticipation just a little more before following up his well-received debut mixtape Diary Of An ATL Brave. He’s got some additions that will make the oft-delayed project well worth the wait.

“We’ve got some friends that are getting on the mixtape and we want to shoot like three videos to accompany it.” Donnis told VIBE on his way back to his Atlanta home.  “I’m actually about to fly out to Japan to shoot one soon. We want this mixtape to be even bigger of a production than Diary of an ATL Brave.”

The newly signed Atlantic recording artist willfully announced at a recent concert in New York City that his next mixtape, Fashionably Late, would be dropping on May 4. But it looks like fans and critics will just have to remain patient until Donnis can put the finishing touches on the project that has all eyes on him.

“Originally, the title I was rolling with was Southern Comfort, just being from the South and representing all my values.  But I’ve decided to change it up to Fashionably Late which just seems more fitting with my situation now,” explained Donnis. “I just talked to Wiz about a record, my boy Pill and Diggy is supposed to get on a record. Also I just got off the phone with Estelle. I can’t say for sure what will make the mixape, but you can definitely expect these names.” —Mikey Fresh
