Dr. Dre Calls Game’s New ‘Jesus Piece’ Album “Dope”

The Game returns this week with LP number five, titled Jesus Piece. Never shy of self-promotion (just check out his Twitter page), the Compton rapper recently shared the praise he received via text from one Dr. Dre.

Apparently the good doctor is a fan of Game’s new 13-track album. The hip-hop legend called Jesus Piece “dope,” and singled out the track “All That (Lady)” featuring Jeremih, Lil Wayne, Fabolous and Big Sean, for its D’Angelo’s “Lady” sample. “The song with the D’Angelo sample is f—in crazy,” wrote Dr. Dre, before congratulating Game on a job well done. Game, naturally, geeked out over the flattery and tweeted a picture of the text (displayed above) to his fan base.

Pick up Jesus Piece on Dec. 11. (Dr. Dre is right. We’ve heard it, and the album is “dope.”)
