Ma$e recently made a return to rap in early August appearing onstage next to Diddy at Drake's OVO Fest in Toronto. Shortly afterwards rumors emerged that the Harlem rapper might be eyeing a seat on Drake's label OVO Sound -- home to PARTYNEXTDOOR and Majid Jordan.
In 2012, Ma$e told MTV that he eyed collaborations with Kanye West and Drake. "I think he's like the closest to what I believe I would have been if I didn't leave music," Ma$e said of Drake.
Fast forward to OVO Fest 2013. Drake elaborated on Ma$e's sentiment and how the two had been in talks about "what the future holds." "Anything is possible," Drake said of working with the Harlem World rapper. "I told Ma$e, 'You're Ma$e at the end of the day, so I don't think you should end up on anybody else's label."
While that leave's things open, Drake did end with these parting words. "As far as Ma$e goes, I'd love to work with Ma$e to be honest."
