Drake Says Jay Z Is ‘Somewhere Eating A Fondue Plate’ During NBA Playoffs

Ironically, as the subtle jabs keep coming between Drake and Jay Z, the Brooklyn Nets are going head-to-head at the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. In an interview today during Game 1 in Toronto Drizzy said that Jay Z “was somewhere eating a fondue plate” while the two teams were playing. He also added, “It’s our time, and we gotta keep it competitive. It’s an ironic matchup.” Was Drake referring to basketball or rap when he said “we gotta keep it competitive?” And of course the matchup is ironic, but was this his way of acknowledging the presence of a rift between him and Jay? Meanwhile, Toronto’s go-hard didn’t stop with their hip-hop mascot. The general manager of the Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri, met with fans at a rally at Maple Leaf Square where he had two choice words for his playoff opponents: “Fuck Brooklyn!” Watch in the video below: Ujiri also confirmed his statement thereafter:
