Drake Wins ‘Woodie Of The Year’ At The mtvU Woodie Awards

Drake bagged yet another trophy to add to his collection after winning the 2014 “Woodie of the Year” award at the mtvU Woodie Awards at the South by Southwest festival. Although the Toronto rapper was unable to tend due to his Would You Like A Tour? duties overseas, Lil Wayne accepted the award on his behalf after his surprise opening performance.

Other folks who took home a woodie included Chance the Rapper, who won the “Best Video Woodie” for his video “Everybody’s Something” and Beyoncé, who nabbed the very first “Did It My Way Woodie.”
