Drumma Boy hasn’t been following VIBE’s Greatest Producer of All Time tournament*. Not because he’s bitter that he wasn’t selected to battle it out with 64 of the illest hip-hop producers ever—but because he’s been working hard to make sure there’s no questioning who the greatest producer of this summer is. Judging by the sound of things, he’s about to have his fingerprints all over the hottest releases of the season. Here, the Memphis-born producer behind Rocko’s 2007 anthem, “Umma Do Me,” Young Jeezy’s 2008 hit, “Put On,” and Birdman’s 2009 smash, “Money To Blow,” breaks down his work on five of this summer’s most anticipated new albums… —Chris Yuscavage
