The above picture finds the People's Champ flexing his box office muscle in a peculiar way. Does this mean we know what The Rock is cooking?
2013 was a great year for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, as he proved to be a bankable star, took control of the roles he plays, and helped to keep action films alive and kicking.
The former WWE champion teased fans by posting this picture to his six-million-plus Twitter followers, and tweeted, "We just had a big meeting with Warner Bros. CEO re: @DCComics 2014. We will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk."
For those just joining us, Johnson was originally attached to play Lobo, in what would've been a pretty good live-action film, but that project went hush awhile ago. The comic book movie fan chatter claims that the hulking character actor was hooked into the role of Black Adam in a Shazam actioner, but with no other word on the web about that it's looking dead on arrival.
Which leaves us wondering if The Rock's partnership with WB would gear him to play a standalone character that has franchise appeal (Green Lantern) and / or possibly join the upcoming Justice League picture.
Is it a movie project at all that he's working on? Time will tell as superhero films (both live-action and animated) are going to big this year.
